Beltane Celebrations and The Green Man
A celebration of life, Love & wild lore
This is the season of fire and fertility,
union and creation, passion and becoming.
We tell tales of enchanted forests and Fae Folk,
The Green Man and lustful horned Gods.
Beltane is wild, magical and alive with raw, untamed energy!

The Invitation,
To trust in all that we are becoming, and gently lean into the invitation of movement, growth and creative action.
Held on the threshold of May, Beltane marks the seasonal crossing from the quieter inward months of the year to the fullness of life, growth, and becoming as we step into the lighter months.
This ancient Fire Festival is a celebration of union, love and our living Earth, honouring the fertility of life, all that is to come and become.
Intentions and Reflections
Where and what in my life feels fertile and abundant right now?
What creative projects are ready to bring forth and birth to action?
Where in my life can I invite more fire and passion with this energy of this turning?
The Deeper Invitation
Beltane is not only a festive celebration, but a threshold to something deeper and much more elemental,
Permit yourself time and the space to feel deeply,
To rest in creativity and becoming,
To live more fully within your truth and expression.
The earth is not holding back; She does shrink and hide her blooms in fear of opinion or rejection, She is unapologetically, boldly and beautifully in Her full expression.
And so are you invited to be.

The Essence of Beltane
The Fires
In days of our Olde Celtic lands, Beltane was marked by the lighting of great hilltop fires in every village, town and community.
People would gather around the Great Beltane fire, sharing blessings, stories and offerings, feasting and setting intentions for abundance and fertility.
The ancient ritual of lighting twin flames from the community fire and taking them home to relight the hearth fires for the year ahead is still practised today!
Another Beltane ritual was, and still is, to drive the cattle through the seasoned smoke of the burning fires for protection, blessing, and vitality.
There are many traditions and rituals of the land that we still practice and celebrate today, rooted in our deep ancestral history.
Fire as purification, a threshold to the next,
To pass between the sacred fires is to step into a new cycle, season and beginning.
The Sacred Union
Beltane rituals and celebrations are centred around sacred union, the union and balance of the masculine and feminine energies.
The meeting of Mother Earth and Father Sky, of
Grandfather Sun and Grandmother Moon, we celebrate and honour the fertility of the masculine and feminine rhythm of life.
In folklore, we share the coming of the May Queen and the Green Man, sharing their stories and symbolism of blossoming beauty and wild, fertile nature.
These ancient stories are being celebrated and told amongst our people once more; they are so much more than a festive tale to share.
They are ancient symbolism and truth, woven threads of lived time with our land, traditions and each other.
These Olde stories stir a deep remembering that gently invites us to reawaken our wisdom and reconnect with the magic once more.

The Green Man Rises
There was a time when the land and people forgot,
The frost lay long, and the trees stood bare,
Their branches like bones against the vast sky.
Beneath the earth in the depths of her darkness, everything was still,
For deep below the roots, in the dark soil, he rests,
The Green Man, he lay sleeping in his Earthly nest,
He lay dreaming, holding the memory of spring,
For when the light returns, he will rise once again,
Spring has arrived!
The Sun has returned, gently warming the lands,
New life is stirring,
The sap rising, Mother Earth's fertile energy begins to expand,
The roots whisper upwards, through each branch, stem and leaf,
The land singing her song,
It's time to awaken, Olde Man,
The winter months are long gone,
And so He rises, and we celebrate His return,
In song, ritual and honour,
And so the wheel does turn.
May the simplicity of natural balance restore our being and bring us rest in this moment, and the song of our lands weave ancient wisdom through the hearts and hands of our people.
